Koboldrones are a species of synthetic dragonoids found in the Synthetic Empire. They are most often seen working in the Imperial Palace as the majority of the servant staff there, performing cleaning and upkeep for all areas of the palace. While nearly all koboldrones work in the palace under the Imperial Toy, there are a few scattered throughout the city and beyond.
Physical Description
Koboldrones stand at an average height of 3’6” (1.07 m) and cannot be taller than exactly 4 feet. Their feet have three fused toes with thick, hard rubber claws that are permanently encased in sculpted rubber paw boots. They have hands with clawed finger tips and a number of digits that varies based on the original species. Koboldrone horns are thick and short, usually curling like a ram’s horns to serve as perfect handles. Though rarely seen beneath their usually worn gas masks, their eyes can have white or black sclera with irises typically matching the rest of their color scheme. If they have ears they are long and floppy.
Coloration depends on rank within the clan. Lower ranked koboldrones can be black with Cherenkov blue or toy pink bellies and thighs with similarly colored wishbone stripes down the spine and coordinated claws and horns. At this rank, they can also be patterned in a hazmat black and yellow style with bold chevron patterns and a radiation hazard seal on the crotch. Higher ranked koboldrones can choose their own colors and markings by personal preference.
Koboldrones have seams around their bodies to look as if their skins were assembled from pieces. Their rubbery coating extends to their interiors as well, including teeth, tongue, and intestines. All koboldrones have a standard round or outlined crotch bulge sealed with either the crest alone, a crested padlock, or a hazard symbol of some kind. Bulges sealed with the crest can be opened by those who know the combination where bulges sealed with a padlock or hazard symbol are sealed permanently unless the seal is changed.
Gear and Accessories
Koboldrones are rarely seen without some form of bondage gear. They typically wear a standard Imperial collar: seamless dual-strap rubber with twelve equally-spaced D-rings, padlock hanging from front ring, and a blue and black color scheme (may be changed to match the koboldrone’s color scheme). Cuffs around the wrists and ankles are similar to the collar, but with only six rings and a smaller padlock hanging from one ring each. Some koboldrones also sport a second set of cuffs on their biceps and thighs.
Every koboldrone has a gas mask that can (when not locked) be absorbed into their body to temporarily expose their face and just as easily recalled back. Hazmat schemed koboldrones have their gas masks permanently glued on. All koboldrone gas masks have lenses instead of visors and feature at least one port for attaching tubes or covering an opening for the mouth. Some gas masks have integrated features, such as computers that use the lenses for digital displays, bluetooth earbuds, nostril tubes, gags, etc.
Gloves and gauntlets are optional for koboldrones and can be glued if worn, though usually not permanently. The sculpted paw boots can also be considered gear but cannot be removed by any koboldrone.
Only higher ranked koboldrones are given leeway to accessorize outside these standard options, as their loyalty to the Imperial Collar earns them the privilege to individualize and stand out among the rest of the clan.
